Attach logs from the folder C: ProgramData Kaspersky Lab Kaspersky Password Manager Logs. Attach compressed dump file, if process stopped. Dump file can be found in the logs folder. Attach the exception text, if it appeared.

I don't exactly know when it started, but I can't get Kaspersky Password Manager to open anymore. I tried opening it through Kaspersky itself, I tried opening it through my home menu, I tried shutting down the program using Task Manager and then restarting it. I tried running it as an administrator. Nothing seems to work. I can't login to My Kaspersky because I lost my password (guess where that was stored, lol). I have a licensed product but I don't think it's a good idea to post the product key here.

Kaspersky itself is running just fine, I'm currently running a Full Scan to see if it finds anything. The only program having issues is KPM. I'm just about ready to deinstall KPM and try reinstalling it to see if that solves the issue, but I want to know whether you guys know how to fix this or not.

My laptop runs on Windows 10, the newest version. Thanks in advance! After the latest update.a few days ago, I have the same problem. KPM just won't open or respond, all I get is the 'hourglass' symbol, meaning processing, for a few seconds, then nothing. I have tried 'Berny's' suggestion/advice, downloading from the link and when reinstalling over the current version, I get a window stating 'KPM is already installed on this device' and nothing has changed.

I'm running Windows 8.1 if that is any help. I was wondering if you had any luck with Berny's advice? I had a 'non-responsive' problem with my initial install of my 'renewed'application, (I think it was v 7.0.0.233., purchased 12/17,according to my apps folder) and did in fact open a ticket with Tech support. They advised me to uninstall/reinstall the app and that worked, solving the problem.

This current problem occurred just after the latest update, a few days ago, I guess it is v 9.0.0.944. It initially opened and worked, 'twice', then suddenly, the non-responsive-/won't open problem, not even as Admin. I will check the topic you recommended for some answers. If I can't find anything of use, I'll just do the uninstall/reinstall procedure and see if that works, as it is usually the end solution recommended/advised by Tech Support anyway. Again, this started after the update. Fortunately, I accessed my password thru 'Google password manager' and that allowed me access to 'My Kaspersky', where I could access my passwords. My password for My Kaspersky site is in my KPM vault, LOL, so I was almost out of luck.

I did try that and again, the 'already installed' window appeared with no change or resolution to the issue. I will try it again though, just to be sure. As I have mentioned in this forum topic, this started only after the last update, however, this updated version of KPM functioned fine on two occasions after the update, then. I have a question though, I have two (2) KPM.exe. In my DL/app folder. One is v 7.0.0.233 ( bought/installed 12/23/17), the other is v9.0.0944 ( DLed today). The v7 is larger than the v9. Just to be sure,which should I be installing, the latest one I DLed earlier, v9, dated 3/17, or the initial application, v7 bought and dated 12/23/17? This may be a 'no brainer', but thought I'd ask just to be sure. If you have any other suggestions, I'd like to hear them.

9.0.0 and inside it a kpm.exe with 540456 bytes - dated feb 22nd Very same problem in my PC. Succesfully installed in my Samsung smartphone and Laptop. The new version installed but fails to connect. Tried it using wifi connection and wired to the router. Same results In my laptop the 2018 version of Total Security is still the 2017. I am afraid of installing 2018 and messing up KPM.
