I very much appreciate the time you spent investigating my NVIDIA ION Problem. It's strange, but on the same day I received your post my NVIDIA ION problem is now fixed. I noticed this AM that Windows updates were being down loaded on my PC 1015PN. Later when reading your post I happened to open the device manager and realized the yellow exclamation mark for the display manager was gone. Now, under the display adapter the only thing listed is the NVIDIA ION.

So, I checked and rechecked all the history, but can't find anything that appears to be related to nvidia. I was ready to go back to W7, but now that all appears OK with the nvidia driver I'm encouraged to keep Windows 10 on the net book.

I'll probably never do a lot with it but it's been a real learning experience. In addition,I plan to try W10 on another PC I built using a Asus Z87 Pro mother board with Windows 8.1 on it. First of all Microsoft provides you with a OS and is dependent from OEM's. Asus provides you with 'their' hardware, but in the end it's NVIDIA that made your graphics card. So I checked the ION based systems and noticed support stopped at Windows 7. Strangely enough the ASUS Eee PC 1015PN is not mentioned although ASUS says it has an ION. ASUS specifications: NVIDIA ION systems: In the end I was going to tell you that you could choose to go back to Windows 7, or disable the NVIDIA card in device manager you will still have the chipset on the motherboard (Intel GMA 3150 GPU).
